About the role

Mediconsult Sdn. Bhd., an established Malaysian healthcare knowledge company, seeks a Medical Planner / Architect to contribute to the advancement of innovative healthcare design and planning. The role involves developing health facility masterplans, feasibility studies, and architectural design solutions that align with medical standards and client needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote business growth through project analysis and strategic input.
  • Apply creative, out-of-the-box thinking for problem-solving.
  • Guide and mentor subordinate staff.
  • Support the Senior Principal in enforcing goals, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure projects meet contractual obligations, quality, and budget targets.
  • Report project status and claims periodically.
  • Masterplanning of health facilities
  • Feasibility and functional studies
  • Medical planning and design
  • Contract management and administration
  • Architectural and interior design consultancy

    • Requirements

  • 6–10 years of experience in architectural or medical planning consultancy.
  • Familiarity with Malaysian health facility regulations and building by-laws.
  • Strong design flair and understanding of architectural principles.
  • Knowledge of construction management and techniques.
  • Proficiency in drafting and presentation skills.
